 Jabrill Peppersjunior / 6’1″ / 205 – Michigan

  • Potentially the most versatile Wolverine athlete since Charles Woodson (plays CB, FS, SS, LB, KR/PR, RB and WR)
  • Has also taken a few wildcat snap, hence he may be to enticing not have an offensive wrinkle for
  • Will likely settle in the best at strong safety in the NFL
  • Aggressive in coverage and he can press WRs, TEs and RBs
  • Dynamic closing speed and open field burst
  • Agility for days and his feet are always working/moving
  • His return skills are absolutely deadly
  • Ultra patient with the ball in his hands
  • Display phenomenal field vision and awareness on offense, defense and special teams
  • Excels as a QB spy
  • Play mostly as a roving/off the ball LB as a Junior and mostly at SS as a Sophomore
  • Compares to players like Karl Joseph and Bob Sanders, plays with a similar wild warthog mentality
  • His acceleration and dangling ability are more impression than whatever his combine 40 time will be
  • More effective tackler with he can attack the ball carrier’s feet
  • Should easily run a sub-7 second 3-cone
  • Obviously he is a play maker but he tends to go for the big game-changing tackle, rather than wrapping up below the waist
  • Just one career INT is a slight concern
  • Could a liability in run-support especially if he remains LB
  • Will likely see limited rookie IDP snaps as his future team tries to figure out his best fit
  • We might eventually find out his best fit is as a returner/special teamer
  • Ranked the #1 CB in country coming out of high school, also as the #3 prospect in the nation and the #1 prospect in the state New Jersey
  • Also heavily recruited by Notre Dame, South Carolina and Stanford.
  • Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami (FL), Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers, Sryacuse, Tennessee, UCLA, USC and West Virginia also showed interest
