Curtis Samuel – Junior / 5’11″ / 197 lbs – Ohio State

  • Only player in FBS to gain more than 700 yards rushing and receiving
  • Could be eligible at both RB and WR for fantasy purposes
  • Was #1 option in Urban Meyer’s offense,  scoring 15 total TDs during his junior year at Ohio State
  • Played behind Ezekiel Elliott leading to lesser statistics during freshman/sophomore years
  • Above average hands
  • Excelled running the jet sweep and getting the ball to the perimeter
  • Played best in the biggest games, scoring the game winning TD against Michigan in OT
  • Ran well between the tackles despite small stature
  • True big play threat, can score on any play
  • Should see regular snaps in the slot at the next level
  • Skills compare to another former Buckeye, Braxton Miller
  • Will need to put on weight to put up with rigors of NFL
  • Ranked as the #8 WR in the nation coming out of Erasmus Hall Campus High School in Brooklyn NY
  • Also heavily recruited by Clemson, USC, Florida, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Virginia, Connecticut, Miami (FL) and Rutgers
