JuJu Smith-Schuster – Jr / 6’1″ / 215 lbs – USC

  • Finished his career at USC with 213 catches for 3,100 yards and 25 TDs.
  • Notched double-digit TDs in back-to-back seasons to finish his career.
  • JuJu finished with 89 catches for 1,454 yards as a sophomore but regressed statistically as junior due to a back injury.
  • 1st-team all-conference in 2015 and 2nd-team all-conference in 2016.
  • Physical WR who can beat press coverage, create separation and finish strong after the catch with lots of YAC.
  • Too strong for corners and too fast for safeties.
  • Great at winning the 50/50 balls against defenders, can high-point with the best of them while utilizing excellent body control when needed.  This should help in red-zone situations at the next level as well.
  • Solid footwork and maintains acceleration through his cuts allowing him to create the separation I mentioned above.
  • Solid but not great 40-time at 4.54 which could slightly limit his deep threat success, but he is fast enough to win vs coverage due to his physical style of play.
  • Great run blocker which NFL teams covet.  Was actually used as an in-line blocker at USC due to how dominating he was.
  • Is known for his mental toughness.
  • Has been compared to Dez and Anquan Boldin who are both physically dominant WRs.
  • Has had some drop issues over his college career.
  • Recruited by Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Arizona, ASU, Cal, CU, Arkansas, Clemson, Michigan, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Tenn, UCLA, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, etc.
  • Rated by Rivals as a 5-star recruit coming out of Long Beach Polytechnic HS.  Was also rated as the 2nd best safety in his class as a 2-way player.
  • 2013 Prep Star All-American Dream Team
  • 2013 Cal-Hi Sports All-State first team
  • COMBINE UPDATE: 40 = 4.54, Vertical = 32 1/2″, Broad Jump = 10’0″, Bench = 15
  • NFL DRAFT SELECTION: Round 2-3
  • DYNASTY ROOKIE: Late 1st or early 2nd.  Has the ability to be a WR1 in the perfect situation although more suited for a WR2. JuJu is NFL ready although it may take a half a season for him to truly make an impact.
