Is there a way to adjust the rookie ADPs in the dynasty startups? Since they weren’t selected in the first 3 mocks it is really impacting the entire analysis. Example: Tavon Austin in Mock 1 – N/a, 2 – N/a, 3 – N/a, 4 – 13.11, 5 – 11.11, 6 – 13.06. ADP = 17.01. It being in Excel it shouldn’t be hard, you just need to either delete the first 3 mocks, use the current average for the first 3 mocks, or maybe a “moving average”.

This could be very valuable guys! One thing I need to understand though. THe rookies seem WAY undervalued. With Lacy being the first rookie gone, he’s the 1.1. By the adp presented, Ryan Mathews is still MOREvaluable than the 1.1 rookie pick? Guys like Torrey Smith, Wes Welker Vjax, Wallace etc, are all more valuable than the 1.1 rookie? That doesn’t seem right. Is the 1.1 really that cheap this year?

  Yep Scott, that is 100% correct. That 1.01 is right where it should be. #1) in this class there is definitely no Trich or Martin right now. #2) after the draft you will see that drop down into the late 3rd/early 4th which is right where Trich and Martin were going last year. Even with complete studs last year, you still saw Trich and Martin going in the 3rd typically.

    Dan, you’re right, no TRich hype this year as he actually went late first round in most start-ups I saw last year. I took him at 1.08 in our industry start-up. I like Lacy a lot and think he isn’t getting enough credit, I think he could be just as good as TRich so I agree with scott that his ADP is too low. It will rise from here on out for sure. I just think there are a ton of mixed opinions on this draft class.

      Thanks guys. Much appreciated. Makes sense that post draft these stocks will rise significantly. Last year case in point, on Apr 30, just a few days after the draft, TRich went 1.3, Martin 3.5, Blackmon 4.5, Luck 5.6, RG3 5.7, Wilson 6.5, even Kendall Wright 6.11. Not comparing 12 to 13 class because you’re right Dan, it’s not in the same ballpark. Seeing these results however, it makes me want to draft NOW to take advantage of what the masses obviously don’t know about a couple of these guys. The draft experience definitely will help shape and build the hype. I’ll be bookmarking this page for sure.
