This is my first devy draft, and I don't watch college ball, so please be patient with me. I did as much research as I could ahead of time, but I may need to do a little more either just before my pick comes up or while I'm on the clock.

If the pick gets to me during the day guys...chances are I won't be able to pick until 6pm or so. It depends on what time it is but email me and I will try to make it while I am at work!

I agree the top of this class is very loaded...I could have gone three different ways at 1.4 for myself and would have been very happy with any of them. Personally I was considering McCaffrey, Dupre and Freeman at that spot. I know he is very highly thought of but I can't bring myself to take a USC WR. There is a hyped one every year and every year they crumble in the NFL. The last impactful one was Steve Smith 2.0 (prior to the knee issue) and he wasn't even the hyped one of that class. This is a nice class though.

LOL...great point. I almost drafted him on name alone. Who wouldn't want a guy named JuJu on their team???

I won't touch USC WRs. I also try to avoid Big 10 RBs. I don't know much about college ball, but I've seen enough USC WRs and Big 10 RBs flop in the NFL to know that it's best to stay away from them.

And LSU WRs sucked until Beckham and Landry. Things change, teams change, etc.

I think JuJu will be an exception. He looks to be the top WR right now and I think he's now bigger than some reports have him listed. You never know, though. So much can change...

Perine is a monster. I really like that guy. Uber balance and hit absorption to keep trucking. Like MJD used to do.

I can tell that I'm going to have the same problem in devy that I had my first couple of years in dynasty...overthinking draft picks instead of making the obvious choices.

...then again, maybe I'm not. My pick of Kupp seems to fall right in line with the picks that came before it and the picks that have come after it. I love the independent thought that's going into these picks, especially after five days of wading through draftnik sites trying to find quality write-ups.
