playoff flex dilemma

Postby minnesnowta » Wed Dec 07, 2016 11:04 am

First round of playoffs for me. My RB (L. Bell and D. Johnson) and WR (D. Bryant and O. Beckham) are pretty much a lock. But I am wrestling with who to play at my Flex. Options include..
L. Miller @ IND
Watkins vs PIT
Pryor vs CIN
S. Smith @ NE
R. Kelley @ PHI
Hightower @ TB

My top two options (Miller and Watkins) are both dealing with their own health issues. I am projected to win by a good 25pts so I am wondering if it would be best to avoid the risk and go with a safer pick with higher floor but lower ceiling. Anyway, of this list who would you start?
3nd yr 12 team .5ppr QB/2WR/2RB/TE/Flex/D
Wilson, Cutler, Cousins
OBJ, S. Watkins, Dez, Jo. Brown, S. Smith Sr, Higgens
L. Bell, D. Johnson, Miller, D. Lewis, M. Jones, White
J. Reed, Kelce

My first instinct after Miller and Watkins was to start Pryor but he had his worst game of the year (2-18) vs. Cincinnati earlier this season. That isn't to say that he won't perform better but that has to be at least a little bit concerning. There is also the possibility of RGIII starting this week which would introduce another unknown element.

By contrast, Miller's best game this season was against Indy and he is expected to play even if he is dinged up. IMO, he's still your best option.

Unless Miller is fully healthy, I'd go with Pryor. Pryor was a deep threat in preseason with RGIII at the helm. That has been mostly missing since his injury.

Thanks for the replies. Update, I did go miller. I did win and won the following week as well.

My championship game got off to a good start with OBJ. Now I am just debating a couple last substitutions.

Wilson (vs Arizona) or Cousins vs bears.. leaning Wilson
Miami D, falcons D, or chargers D off waivers.. leaning falcons

Any thoughts appreciated

And I will probably ride it out with miller even though he is a little banged up.

Congrats on making it to the Championship game.

I'd go with Wilson and Chargers Def vs Cleveland.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I just checked and someone snagged the chargers Def. I had them a couple weeks back but dropped them. Oh well...

Any suggestions on the other 2.. or Cincinnati is interesting option vs Houston and new qb
