Fournette, Cook, Mccaffrey, Mixon

Postby kcg520 » Mon Aug 21, 2017 9:06 pm

Hey,

I have picks 1 and 3 in a dynasty ppr league. I am really torn between Mccaffrey and Fournette at 1 and who would u take at 3 if Mccaffrey is gone? I think Cook has a better situation but think Mixons has more talent. Any advice would be great. Thank you.

Fournette at #1 and Mixon at #3 if available. Mixon will start slower potentially than the other guys, but his ceiling is sky high especially in dynasty. If you watch him play it's hard not to see Bell/DJ like potential there. He's got that burst and wiggle. And Fournette is just a man among boys. Physical freak.

My gut feeling is Mixon will be the best of the bunch. Cook I think is clearly behind the other three guys.

I go Fournette and McCaffrey. Cook is not even in the conversation.

Razor close IMO between Fournette and McCaffrey at 1. In two of my money leagues now McCaffrey has gone 1.

Not sold on Mixon.

Would try to move into 1.2

Fournette is my pick at 1.1 hoping McCaffrey slips. Cook at 1.3 although that is a WR pick IMO.

I think it's a toss up between Mixon and Cook at #3. Even if Mixon is the pick.... Certainly think that's a bit far to say Cook is not even in the conversation.

In my redraft league last night, they went Cook, McCaffrey, Mixon, Fournette

In another redraft league, they went Cook, McCaffrey, Fournette, Mixon

Sure dynasty is different, but this year's projected production does have meaning.

A year ago in dynasty leagues, Dixon was worth more than Howard. Treadwell was worth more than Michael Thomas. Does any of that matter now?

Completely disagree. If you were lucky enough to hit on Thomas or Howard, good for you, you hit a home run. Btw, I projected Thomas to be that good (toot toot).

In Dynasty you always draft for the best long term talent. The 3 RBs imo all have elite ability. I don't think their is a rookie wr this year that is a true elite #1 talent.

Even if Cook somehow manages to beat any of the 3 rbs this year, long term, I don't see him being nearly as valuable as the two 3 down backs with elite ability, and another rb that may be the most versatile guy to come in this league in a long time.

Cook will be a 3 down back in the NFL

IMO
