Pretty self explanatory here, each week we look at the top add-drop candidates. Here are players you should look to add after week 4.  Please keep in mind all league sizes have different roster sizes, some are deep and some are shallow.  Some of these could be obvious, but lots of folks play in shallow leagues.

Tons of RB adds this week, let me know who we missed.

RB Adds

Latavius Murray MN RB – With Cook out for the year with the torn ACL Murray will be the #1 add across all leagues whether dynasty or redraft.  He is a proven RB in this league and can carry the load and can catch.  Mckinnon will likely be the passing down back in an effort to keep Murray health so his upside is capped to an RB2 in my opinion.  He has strong weekly upside though due to his TD potential.

Aaron Jones GB RB – Montgomery has looked great this season but has some broken ribs and may miss some time.  Jones looked great in relief and could carve out a role and has been endorsed by Aaron Rodgers as a guy they trust.  May only be a short-term play, but he’s worth a shot due to Montgomery’s injury history.

Elijah McGuire NYJ RB – Ran for 93 yards last week with a TD and 2 catches for 38 yards.  He had a long run that made up a big chunk of that, but he looked solid and passes the eye test in my opinion.  It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out once Forte is healthy, hopefully they just cut or trade Forte though.  McGuire could get a chance to showcase his talents the 2nd half of the season if they are out of playoff contention which is why I want him on my bench as a flyer.

Eddie Lacy Sea RB – Carson is more than likely out for the year with the broken ankle which means there will probably be a committee approach at RB in Seattle.  Lacy will compete with Rawls for the 1A early down role.  Eddie looked decent after Carson exited, so he has a chance to pull his value out of the toilet and I’m sure he’s motivated to have a redemption story.

Wayne Gallman NYG RB – Owned in 20% of leagues. Had a decent stat line in week 4 with 11 for 42 and 2 catches for 8 yards and a TD.  Perkins is hurt and day-to-day and has been absolutely horrible even when healthy.  Gallman should have an opportunity to play more vs the Chargers who are 30th against the run giving him a strong chance to turn it into a long-term starting gig for the rest of the season if he plays well.

Jerick McKinnon MN RB – Cook is out for the season with an ACL injury and while this doesn’t change much for McKinnon right out of the box it does put him as next in line for early down work if injury-prone L.Murray goes down.  The SPARQ athlete could do some damage if he ever got a 3-down role in this offense.

J.D. McKissic Sea RB – Carson is more than likely out for the year with the broken ankle which means there will probably be a committee approach at RB in Seattle.  That being said McKissic looked electric and Eddie and Rawls may fill the early down role while Prosise will play the passing down role.  Prosise has proven that he’s not very durable so maybe McKissic ends up being the guy for that role sooner rather than later.

Brandon Oliver SD RB – Gordon doesn’t look right, this is just a flyer in case Gordon aggravates the knee injury.

Jalen Richard Oak RB – Lynch is just not getting the job done, so this is a speculative add with the belief that they could eventually shift to a more explosive back who can catch.

WR Adds

Jaron Brown AZ WR – Only owned in 21% of leagues and has proven his worth over the last 3 weeks with targets of 11, 6 and 12.  There is a chance John Brown eats into his production moving forward as gets healthier, but if he’s available you have to take that risk.  Every season players come out of nowhere to have a top-25 season at their position and he could fit the bill this year in AZ as a bigger physical WR to go with Fitz.

Devin Funchess Car WR – Funchess balled out in week 4 with 7 catches on 9 targets with 70 yards and 2 TDs.  He got 10 targets in week 3 so the targets aren’t a fluke, he won’t get that amount moving forward though. The main reason I’m buying into his product for the next month or two is the Olsen injury, and even then maybe he and Cam will have built enough chemistry that it won’t matter with Olsen back in the mix.

Taylor Gabriel ATL WR – Speculative add here with injuries to both Julio and Sanu.  Julio should be fine, but just something to keep an eye on if desperate at WR.

TE Adds

Tyler Kroft Cin TE – Had a solid game with 2 TDs and Eifert has proven he can’t stay on the field.  Good short-term streaming play and good insurance for Eifert owners.  Will they eventually get fed up with Eifert?!?
